To make Paneer Tika Masala recipe, you will need onion or tomato paste.
To make this, prepare the paneer masala, apply masala to the paneer and grill it (oven) or in tandoor. Or you will need to cook onion and tomato gravy and along with that the paneer is cooked in the gravy. Grill the paneer well. You can make this recipe easily even without oven, so let's learn step by step
Ingredients to make Paneer Tikka
Gram Paneer (thickened)
1 cup thick curd
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp garam masala
salt to taste

2 tbsp oil
1 onion (finely chopped)
2 tomatoes (purified)
1/2 cup cashews (soaked and blended)
1 tbsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
1/2 cup cream
1 cup water
5 cardamom
3 Kashmiri red chillies (for tadka)
1 tablespoon butter
Fresh coriander (for garnish)
To make the marinade, mix curd, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and lemon juice in a bowl, add salt and oil.
Add the cubed paneer in the marinade, cube the paneer evenly. Make sure it is well coated. Cover it with a plate. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours and refrigerate.
For Paneer Tikka
With this you can also cook on gas. (Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F))
Soak the wooden sticks in water for 10-15 minutes and then wipe them with a clean cloth. Put the cubes of Paneer in the wooden sticks, one by one, add onion along with the paneer. Do this back and forth and put all the cubes of Paneer in the steak. Now for cooking you have to take a fry pan
To make at home you need a medium size fry pan. Lightly heat the fry pan and add 2 spoons of oil.
After the oil is hot, cook on low flame.
Turn the marinated paneer around and cook for 2 - 3 minutes until golden brown.
To grill (in the oven)
Heat the oven to medium high (keep the oven hot for 10-12 minutes)
Place the paneer on the skewer on a wire mesh (steel mesh) and keep it in the oven for about 5-6 minutes or until the paneer turns golden. Do not overcook the paneer (cook until golden).
Step 1 Step by step to make Paneer Tika Masala
Heat oil in a pan (add butter also and fry it) Add some cumin seeds, dry coriander, 2 cardamoms, 2 Kashmiri chillies, cashew nuts. This will give a better taste. Add sugar and cook for 1-2 minutes until chopped onions turn golden brown. fry until done
Add finely chopped tomatoes and let it cook well. Add salt as per taste

Add coriander powder, hot spices (I use M.D.H. and Badshah spices) which one will be best for you, choose after all the spices are cooked and cook the spices a little and when cooked, remove it from the pan and let it cool down
After the mixture cools down, take it in the mixer and grind it little by little in the grinder and add water. Do not add too much, keep the gravy a little thick
Add baked paneer tikka to the masala and mix well.
Add the cream and cook on low heat for an additional 5_7 minutes until the masala thickens and the flavors meld.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves
